I grew up running barefoot through the baroque arcades of Old Havana, learning to listen to the echo of the stones before I learned to name them. While the world saw Cuba through a nostalgic, static filter, I discovered it as a living organism of everyday poets, inner courtyards and unmatched artistic resilience.
After graduating in History and Heritage from the University of Havana, I realised the most curious travellers were leaving without ever crossing the real threshold: an honest conversation over home-roasted coffee, or an engraving workshop hidden behind a colonial facade worn by the Malecón’s sea salt.
Así nació Cuba with Yoyo: not as a mass-tourism agency, but as an intimate, human and deeply respectful bridge. Every itinerary I design reflects my own network of affections on the island.
